Lost HUF PAN application acknowledgement - need help

Hi everyone,

I applied for a fresh HUF PAN card through Protean/NSDL about 6 months ago and posted the physical documents.

Due to a device change, I lost all details:

• No 15-digit acknowledgement number
• No email/SMS confirmation
• PAN card has not arrived

Protean is asking for the acknowledgement number to search, but I don’t have it.

Is there any way to trace a HUF PAN application/PAN using the Karta’s details or through the Income Tax Department? Also, should I apply again, or could that create a duplicate PAN issue?
