Service industry hair advice!

Advice Needed

Hi everyone :) first time posting in here so Please ask for any clarifications and ill try to respond asap! also please be kind because I am struggling pretty bad and just want some advice.

I (25, F) am an Afro-Latina woman with 3C hair I grew up with a mom who never learned how to do my hair unfortunately, and only up until the last few years have I been dedicated to trying to keep it as healthy as possible. All advice is welcome HOWEVER, I have been trying to feel comfortable with my hair for a long time and so my decisions are based purely around what would be healthiest but also make me feel more confident. My hair is fine, delicate, and it’s not as dense as it could be. it’s about shoulder length when styled and when straightened it reaches collarbone.

My biggest obstacle right now is the fact I work in the service industry and cannot have my hair naturally out. I don’t know how to braid and so I don’t have many choices except slick backs, wearing a half wig or headband wig. i’m trying to not slick my hair back as much because of breakage in the front. Wig grips often slide off my hair because I’m sweaty or my hair doesn’t give them much to hold onto.

In a perfect world:

I’d love to be able to blow out my hair with some sort of extensions to make it voluminous and add some length. Almost yaki textured or something that I can do a braid out at night And then unbraid and claw clip it up in the morning. (think solange)

Realistically:

I don’t know if that could be achieved without some sort of hairstyle that revolves around tension or not. Claw clips? A few sewn in bundles in the lower half of my head? Looking for some advice as someone with fine, delicate hair who wants to avoid styles that involve a lot of pulling or tension.

thanks in advance !
