AMA Wife is 9 years older than me

Hey everyone,
I’m a guy in my early 40s and my wife is 9 years older than me. We’ve been together for several years. Overall things are really good, but I’ve noticed that the age difference sometimes comes up in small ways; different energy levels, life stage stuff, how people react when they find out, that kind of thing.
I’m not looking for advice on whether this is “right” or “wrong.” I’m mostly curious to hear from other people in similar situations (especially where the woman is older).
How has the age gap affected your relationship long-term?
Any unexpected pros or cons that showed up after a few years?
