How to handle a supervisor

Hi All!

I'm about 10 months into this field as an RBT, and I really love it but i'm having a hard time with a case supervisor. There have been past issues on a program where they say to do one thing, so I move forward in sessions doing that. Then they do a drop in and say that's not what they said to do, then I get confused and ask for clarification. At one point they admitted that they were in wrong and that I was doing it correctly, but it happened again with the same program. This time they snapped at me in front of my client and the family, saying "we've gone over this again and again!" to me about the same thing they admitted I was doing correctly. I tried to gain clarification again but they took it as me being combative. I was mortified, my client uncomfortable and the remainder of the session was me trying to recalibrate my client. I feel like it's a game of "when will they realize that i'm doing what they asked?" and taking daily gaslighting because they handle all of my clients. I know i'm a capable RBT, I know i'm great with my clients and as a human, I make mistakes but I know this isn't one of them. I just feel like i'm at wits end and don't want to quit this company before it hits a year. Even then, they would have been my resume reference for the company. Any suggestions on what to do? I feel stuck and being new to the field, I don't want this to reflect on my career or burn a bridge. I plan on asking to speak to them directly about it but I don't even know what the point is if this is such a strong pattern. Adding that they tend to belittle me in front of other supervisors and I never know if we have a private overlap or not, or if other supervisors are listening.
