Should I enter a relationship with a bisexual woman. Please help ðŸ˜
For context, I’m 19F and just finished my first year of college. I’ve never dated anyone but have had some situationships and I finally found a girl who I think is perfect. We had been friends since the start of the school year and eventually got really close. She’s bisexual and has never been with or talked to a girl (…) and had just gotten out of a two year relationship with a guy when we decided to go casual. As it so often goes, I caught feelings super fast whereas she rejected me due to the fresh breakup, but we never ended being casual with each other and would continue to be intimate. As of about two months ago we figured it out and the feelings are reciprocated, she says she’s liked me the entire time but just didn’t want to lead me on because she was emotionally available. The point is, we’ve had a rocky start.
We established that we both want a relationship, but we’re currently long distance so we’re waiting until we go back to college. However as time gets closer to going back I’m starting to feel a lot of pressure and I feel like it’s on me to ask her (I’m masc). Not only that, but I have a lot of doubts and feelings of insecurity. We have a very healthy communication style, but we constantly have small arguments that I feel like shouldn’t be had when not even official yet. I’m also insecure about that fact that she had a boyfriend and that’s something I’m just not able to give her. She understands that and said she’s fine without a strap but I feel like she’s only saying that to ease my insecurity.. but what if it’s not ok? I don’t want her to be unhappy sexually. I’m also just uneasy as this is my first relationship and her last one ended kind of badly and he didn’t treat her well and with what she deserves. I’m scared to put a label on things because I’m scared of the expectations that come with it. Am I just not ready? Are these feelings normal? What do I do.
