So did anyone here from that generation watch ‘The Wall’ album samples of soap operas at the time?

I remember when Roger asked if anyone had samples from that era for the 2010 tour and being bewildered he really did put a mic randomly on the tv to get some good sound effects for the album. What were those soap operas btw that are now iconic for the album. Also for the beginning of ‘Nobody’s Home’ what was that scream from that girl and Pink saying ‘your driving me crazy’ how does that fit in the storyline overall?
