Curious on insights for power restoration.
I live in Merrillville, and was curious as to why crown point and valpo are more than 50-60% operational compared to the initial outing, but everywhere north and west of them have had minor improvements, maybe 10% average of gains for the few areas I checked. Last time the storms rolled through a while back we were out for 3-4 days, and that wasn't even close to how bad this was. Just feels off / like there's some favoritism for restoration. But, who knows, it could be worse damage here.
Not gonna lie, I miss illinois for one thing, and that's how short the outages always were. Nipsco is so bad in comparison, and insanely expensive.
