Ideally, I am looking for someone around my age or younger, but open to someone up to 36.

I am from Canada and not looking to relocate immediately, but I would be open to relocation in the next 3–4 years.

Single, never married, and no children.

7. About me:

I occasionally wonder why I did not take the idea of marriage more seriously back when my younger life in university provided a significantly more active social life. Better late than never, I suppose?

I would describe myself as loyal, caring, independent, curious, and generally pretty easygoing. I grew up in a close and loving family, and that shaped how I view relationships. Love, affection, emotional support, and being there for the people you care about are important to me, and want to continue growing same kind of environment with my future wife.

I became independent fairly young. I moved away for university after high school and have spent more than half my life living on my own, so I am comfortable taking care of myself and managing everyday life. I am not looking for someone to complete my life; hoping to find someone with whom I can truly share it.

My faith is firm, but I will be the first to admit that my practice is not perfect. Actively trying to improve by learning more and becoming more regular and consistent with my prayers.

Looking for someone who has at least a university degree or is currently working toward one.

I am a professional engineer working in the consulting industry.

Yes. InshaAllah, I would like to have kid(s) one day.

It is difficult to keep this to three, but the ones currently come to mind -

The outdoors: climbing, hiking, and swimming in glacier lakes.

History: I can happily disappear down a historical rabbit hole for far longer than intended.

Geology: Rocks are significantly more exciting than they look. I promise!

14. something short and interesting:

I am probably one of those rare people who genuinely enjoys writing letters and mailing postcards.

I also collect pens, mostly fountain pens. Chances are I will have unnecessarily strong opinions about paper, ink, and whether a particular pen has a satisfying nib.

15. What are you looking for in a woman?

Someone who understands the value of being part of a loving, supportive, and close family while also believing that a husband and wife need to build their own relationship and identity together. Someone who is curious about the world.
