Rec's where the FMC comes into her power/strength and MMC is grumpy/broody/lethal match ???

To give more context and examples, I'm looking for books where the FMC starts off maybe in captivity or maybe just has to come into her character arc such as:

{The Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy}
{Servant of Earth by Sarah Hawley}
{Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent} ~ i'm reading this now🙈

- also MMC to be grumpy or broody. doesn't have to be a shadow daddy(although i do love them🤷‍♀️) but i like the broody misunderstood villain - NO CINNAMON ROLL MMC 🚫

- 🌶️🌶️Open door spice at minimum😬I like slow burns but eventually in the series i want open door spice can be explicit or mild. sorry this is kind of picky lol. But got any rec's???
