I recently cancelled my Acer Aspire 15 (Ryzen 3 7330U) order and went with a different laptop that cost me around ₹45,000.

I already own an iPad A16, and it is amazing for watching lectures, taking notes, reading PDFs, and media consumption. But after using it for some time, I realized that for a few tasks it simply was not enough ,,, things like managing multiple browser windows, file organization, Office work, downloads/uploads, and some basic productivity tasks felt much easier on a proper laptop.

At first I was actually thinking about buying a MacBook, but there were two problems:

\- I had never used a laptop before, so I was not sure whether jumping directly to macOS was a good idea.

\- My budget was limited, and a MacBook was far beyond what I could comfortably spend.

So I ended up buying a Windows laptop for about ₹45k with these specs:

\- 15.6-inch Full HD display

\- 120Hz refresh rate

\- 250 nits brightness

\- WVA anti-glare narrow-border panel

\- 512 GB SSD

\- 65W charger

\- 41Wh battery

\- Weight: 1.63 kg

\- MS Office included

The main reasons I chose this over the Acer were the 120Hz display, lighter weight, and the fact that it felt more modern and smoother for everyday use.

The Acer Aspire 15 had a larger 55Wh battery and seemed like a very solid value option, so I am wondering whether I made the right decision by cancelling it.

For someone who already has an iPad A16 and needed a Windows laptop mainly for productivity and multitasking, do you think spending ₹45k on this lighter 120Hz laptop was a better choice than keeping the Acer Aspire 15 (Ryzen 3 7330U)?

I would appreciate honest opinions from people who have experience with Acer Aspire, Dell Inspiron, or similar budget Windows laptops.

Thank you guys🙏☺️
