An update on community restrictions: Freedom wins..for now!

Pinned

After much deliberation and because we are dedicated to the sacred right of "freedom of speech", we have decided to graciously lift the 100-karma restriction. We want everyone to have a voice.

But let's be entirely real for a second: did you see what happened when we actually put that limit up? The sub completely changed overnight! It wasn't pretty! Consider this a free preview of the future if you can't behave.

To ensure this doesn't spiral, we are introducing two zero-tolerance rules effective immediately:

No targeted harassment campaigns: Tagging other members or creating dedicated call-out posts just because they have a different opinion will result in an immediate custom ban, progressing rapidly to a permanent ban.

No personal attacks: Anyone who instigates drama by digging into another user's Reddit comment history to attack them will be banned on the spot.Keep the discussion focused on the sub's topic and keep it civil.

We are pulling the wall down for one last chance at a free-for-all. If the personal attacks start back up, the restriction goes right back up with them.

Play nice, or it gets revoked. 🛑
