Beginner cycler. Get the Ozark G1, or wait for a good used bike?

My situation is relatively simple. Wanting a bike to get some movement in. I have some tendinitis so not looking for anything crazy to start out with, since I'll be very slowly easing into the sport. I'd like a drop bar.

Hoping to not spend more than $600 for everything (bike, helmet, rack, etc). I've seen a ton of hype around the G1, and I finally got my hands on one and it will be on hold for me starting Saturday. If I take it home, I'm taking it to a shop for a checkup.

I'm wondering if I should bite the bullet or hold off for a "better" bike. I'm so new to everything its going to take some research and patience. Of course the main concerns with the G1 are quality and longevity, and if we're being a bit surface level it is a Walmart bike which is not something I'd be suuuper proud of and I'm not sure if the color is what I like (I used to love the look of this bike but currently having analysis paralysis).

I've heard great things about this bike for the value, and I'm aware of its cons. But I'd really like to get opinions from you guys. I'm 5'4", maybe a 29in inseam. Again, not looking for any crazy upgrades. Just something worth the money.

Thank you!!
