Just bought the Casio Enticer MTP-1302PGL for traditional wear — did I make the right choice?

I recently bought the Casio Enticer MTP-1302PGL-9AVEF. I was specifically looking for a watch to wear with traditional Indian outfits like kurta-pajama, and also wanted something that I could potentially wear with my sherwani at my wedding later this year.
I’m fairly new to watches and have just started building a small collection, so I’d genuinely appreciate some honest opinions from people who know more about watches than I do.

I went with this particular model because I liked the gold-tone case, champagne dial and brown leather strap. I felt that combination would work well with traditional/festive clothing without being overly flashy.
I’m also around a 7-inch wrist, and I think the 38.5 mm case sits quite well on me.

Was this a good choice for traditional wear and potentially a wedding sherwani? Or, in the ₹7–8k range, are there other watches you’d recommend that would be better suited for these occasions?
I’m not necessarily looking for another watch just to replace this one — I’d mainly like to understand whether I made a good choice and what I should look for as I slowly build my collection.

Would love some genuine criticism/suggestions, especially regarding:
How this watch works with kurta-pajama
Whether it would be appropriate with a sherwani
Whether the gold/champagne/brown combination is versatile enough
Other watches under ₹7–8k that I should have considered.

This is the one

Thanks
