2012 Civic LX Valve Gasket replacememt

Im a newbie and never worked that much on my car myself except replacing head light bulbs, tail light bulbs and battery. I need to replace my valve gasket on my 2012 honda civic lx and want to know is it a easy job o rdoable at home ? Or is it better to go to a mechanic? Dealer quoted me 470$ in west WA
