SUSS PT Business Analytics vs Murdoch/Kaplan Business — which would you choose in my situation? (26M, Singapore)

I’m 26M Singaporean and stuck between two options. Would really appreciate honest advice from people who have studied at SUSS, Murdoch/Kaplan, or hire graduates.
My background
- 26M, Singaporean
- Polytechnic Diploma in Business Management, GPA ~3.2
- NS completed
- Some internship experience
- No specific dream career yet
Main concern: I don’t want to spend my entire late 20s studying if I don’t have to.

Option 1 — SUSS PT BSc Business Analytics
Start: Jan 2027
Roughly 4 years → graduate around 2031
Local autonomous university
Much cheaper
More technical/analytics-focused
Potentially useful for analyst/BI/operations/finance roles
Concern: I don’t actually know if I want to work in Business Analytics. I might end up wanting something completely different after graduating.

Option 2 — Murdoch Bachelor of Business (International Business + Management) via Kaplan
Start: Aug 2026
36 credit points of exemptions
12 units remaining
Kaplan consultant gave me a 16-month accelerated study plan
Potential completion around late 2027/early 2028
Total contractual fees: ~S$24.7k
Degree awarded by Murdoch University
Broader business/management degree
Concern: It’s a private degree and expensive, and International Business/Management isn’t necessarily a career I want either.

My dilemma
I’ve realised neither degree guarantees a career I actually want.
So should I prioritise:
SUSS: stronger local university brand + cheaper + technical BA skills, but 4 years of study
Murdoch: much faster bachelor’s + enter workforce earlier + broad business degree, but private university and S$24.7k

If I take SUSS, I’d graduate around 30/31. If Murdoch’s accelerated plan works, I’d graduate around 27/28.
I’m not trying to find a “dream career” right now. I mainly want a degree that gives me flexibility and allows me to move forward.

If you were in my exact situation, which would you choose and why?
Especially interested in opinions from SUSS/Murdoch graduates, Singapore recruiters/hiring managers, and anyone who made a similar decision in their mid-20s.
I’d appreciate brutal honesty about employability, salary, career progression, degree recognition, and whether SUSS is worth the extra 3-ish years.
