Was "diagnosed" with ADHD when I was 8 but never received treatment.

Questions/Advice

Okay so I'll keep this short and sweet. My whole life has just seemed like I'm going 2 steps forward and 7 steps back. Jobs going bad and so many failed relationships with people that truly loved me but I always end up pushing them away. I dropped out of highschool and have been working odd jobs since I was 17 and I'm currently 26 and am doing horribly in life.

I've felt like something has been wrong with me and I started doing some digging and I found out back when I was a kid being sent to a phycologist to be treated for chronic insomnia they also told my Mom they're pretty certain I have ADHD and I guess out of disbelief or not wanting to pay she never told me and I never got treatment. Guys am I cooked? Like should I go take my ass to the doctor now that I'm finding it out or is shit too late for me? Because I don't want to keep living like this and if there's treatment that could improve my life I want to do it
