Huaraches lacing issue
Hello all,
First post, please be gentle.
I have just made my first pair of huaraches! I offset the toe hole towards the second toe a little, but found that it had too much pressure on the inside web of my second toe.
I tried lots of different placing styles, hoping to pull the central lace away from my second toe and in the direction of the inside of my ankle and relieve the pressure. No joy really.
I think tried making another hole further towards my big toe. However, my foot just slid across to until the chord was in the same location between my toes as before - and my foot shifted across so my toe was now making contact with the ground. So now I’m back with original hole.
Can anyone offer any advice of how I should progress? Is there a lacing style that keeps the central toe lace, but puts less pressure on the webbing? Or should I just make another shoe and position the hole in a different position? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
