I thought I’d save money with a cheap essay service… yeah, that backfired hard

I’m honestly still annoyed about this lol.

I was completely buried in assignments last week. Two papers, a presentation, readings I hadn’t even opened… and my deadline was basically staring me in the face. I found a super cheap writing service and thought, “whatever, I just need some help getting this thing moving.”

Big mistake.

The draft I got back was technically an essay, but that’s about where the compliments end 😭. The arguments were super generic, some sources didn’t even make sense, and the whole thing sounded like it had been stitched together from random paragraphs.

I ended up spending basically my entire night rewriting it.

So yeah, I “saved” money, but then lost hours fixing everything. And honestly, the stress was way worse than just asking for help with outlining/editing in the first place.

I get why people look for cheap options when they’re desperate. I’ve definitely been there. But now I’m way more skeptical of anything promising a decent paper for almost nothing.

Has anyone else learned this lesson the hard way? 😭
