What are crowds like between Halloween and Christmas theming?

My wife and I are considering going to Disneyland after Halloween is over but before the Christmas season starts.

Are crowds any different during those couple weeks between holiday themes? Are parades/fireworks/shows paused during that period at all? Is there anything else historically consistent to expect (besides the closure of It’s a Small World)?
