New Guitar Recommendation

I'm looking to buy a new guitar but I would like to hear some recommendations.

I currently have a Solar A2.6C, which is the only guitar I've ever had (apart from a Harley Benton beginner guitar kit).

I'm very happy with the Solar, but I would like a second guitar so I can keep my Solar in standard tuning and then have my new one in drop D tuning, so I don't have to tune the 6th string so frequently (for lower tunings I just use a drop pedal).

I don't like floating bridges as they seem to be kinda frustrating besides I don't really need a whammy bar.

About pickups, I don't know if the difference between passive humbuckers and active pickups is that big, although I feel like needing a battery is a bit annoying.

About the shape, I personally like the explorer cut, but it's not mandatory.

I would like to hear some advice, as I don't much about the state of the art.
