Watches to get back from Mainland China

I have 2 friends travelling to Shanghai in the next 2 weeks. Has anyone ordered watches from China for delivery inside the mainland ?

What brands to look at - what are the precautions to take ?

Price is not really a concern, but looking for brands that we would normally not ship to India .
