My brother tried to lock me out and calls me names

I’m a female. My brother lives with me and on a daily basis he refuses to share space, tells me to “go die” because he believes I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and acts inconsiderately. On a recent occasion, I was forced to exit the house via the backyard gate and his dog ran out after me. He accused me of “animal abuse” because his dog ran away.
It’s wearing me down and I feel physically exhausted from living with him and mentally scrambled because of the abuse.

Any advice? Unfortunately I’m unemployed thus i can’t afford to move out and I’ve gone thru toxic roommates in my experience.
