Do you continue texting after setting up the first date?
I use dating apps. This Monday I managed to set up first dates with 3 different women on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Idk how I did it either).
Well, all 3 of them cancelled the day before the date when I reached out to specify the meeting location and details - some had excuses, one just didn't respond at all.
The conversations we had prior to setting up a date were all great, and when I asked them out and we ageed on a day that works for the both of us, they all seemed enthusiastic. In each case I would then say something like "awesome, I'll reach out during the week to confirm the exact time and place and they were cool with that. But then I wouldn't text them anymore until the day before the date - I got shit to do and I don't really wanna bore them or come on too strong.
I wonder if this offended them? I really get the feeling that if I set up dates for the day after rather than later in the week some of these cancellations wouldn't have happened. Would you normally continue chatting everyday leading to the date? I've not even met these women in person yet.
(Before anyone asks, I don't actually want to go on 3 dates, I booked 3 cause I expected some won't happen and I wanted to secure at least 1)
