It's [been some time](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalogCommunity/comments/1p692lf/i_made_an_app_for_all_you_film_hoarders/) but I'm back with a new feature! Make sure to update your version or download the app [here](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/analog-filmstock/id6755291709).

You can now quickly add films by scanning the DX barcode on the side of the film canister. The app will then pre-fill the information for the scanned rolls (only working for 35mm obviously).

But what when I dont want to rip open my delicate deep-frozen package? I hear you - I also added (and will continue to do so) support for barcodes on the packaging itself. That also includes pro-packs! Meaning when you scan a Portra 400 pro pack it will add 5 rolls of the right format - you only have to add the expiry date.

So far I added more than 70 different barcodes of the most common brands (Ilford, Kodak, Fuji and more) as well as most of the films supported by the app that have a DX code. (Note - some Fuji DX codes are really strange and wont work, like Acros and Neopan)

*Also on a different note, I am aware that some of you have some issues accessing the Loaded films page because the app crashes. It is a bit tricky to debug as I cant reproduce the issue on my side. From my understanding this only affects users who added film BEFORE version 2.0 and the big migration. This update also has a little fix that will hopefully resolve this - if not I'd recommend to make a backup via the export feature and delete + reinstall the app completely.*

As always, thanks a lot for all your inputs and ideas!

PS: I also created r/FilmStockApp some time ago to consolidate feedback, ideas and bugs - feel free to join!
