I hate people getting good/positive news and sharing it.

I hate when people share good news, no one likes this but we all just accept it.

Oh you got your dream job? Don't care, i'm mad at that

Oh you got a new car? Don't care, I hate that

You just got a raise? I'm not happy for you

You just got your degree? I'm annoyed.

Of course we don't say it but we don't like it, we'll never admit it because that's not sociably acceptable.

The truth is we all want everyone to do worse than us, and if someone succeeds we want it to be because of our helping hand. This isn't wrong, it's human.

We need to stop this whole "sharing good news" like people are genuinely happy for you, because you know we aren't - and you know you aren't when we share good news.
