Anyone else get these passive aggressive signs that only validate your belief you are ugly and not cool?

When even some of my friends at work will pretend not to see me or say hi when they're with their other, "cooler" mates.

When even my friends look really awkward when they hear I have a crush on someone, like it's an offence.

When I get the comments "try not to worry what you look like" (even when I've not even said anything about my appearance).

People will talk to me or smile in a patronising, insincere way.

When colleagues can get called "stunning" just being in tracksuits, no make-up etc. When I make an effort, wear eye make-up but never get called this.

When even friends comment on my Facebook profile picture saying "lovely picture of you", not "beautiful" etc., which most people get.

Anyone else have these, or other similar experiences?
