semi-new player, need advice on asking players to switch heros!

alrighty so i haven’t been playing rivals (my first hero shooter game) for very long, but recently got super into it in s9 and have already lorded jubilee.

currently i’ve been stuck in the silver hellscape and despite consistently gaining/losing points, cant seem to escape silver regardless of how well my performance is. i’ve noticed a big problem is during a game we’ll have a player or two be hard stuck on a hero despite being deep in the negative.

now i’m not the type to tell people to switch off or call out a poor performance (usually will just say “need a tank” or “need a support”) as i don’t want to yuck anyones yum, or risk being a toxic asshole. but its getting to the point where i can pretty much tell exactly which people need to switch off and who they need to switch to in order for us to tip the scales.

whats the community’s feelings/etiquette on telling specific people when a hero isnt working and they need to switch? or is it better to just be quiet, grind, and try to claw my way out of silver?
