I need to convince my father he can learn the guitar

So this is somewhat of a weird question, and im not even sure if this is the place where I should ask this but its kind of the only idea I have.

Situation is, my father has been wanting to be Able to Play The Guitar for a very long time, call it multiple decades.

Recently, I got a guitar for I wanted to learn it as Well, I’m still a beginner yet have made good Progress (I Play Piano too and have some musical talent so it is a little easier for me)

However, he has convinced himself he wont be Able to learn it, because he doesnt have any talent, and it will be too difficult.

Thing is, I don’t want to see him just shove off his Dream Like that, because I have personally experienced that it definitely isn’t easy but it sure as hell isn’t impossible for ANYONE to learn this instrument.

Anyway, to stop the talking and try and keep it short. How would you Guys go about convincing someone of the fact that they don’t need talent or whatever to learn the guitar, and it sure isn’t impossible.

This might not be a good question, but perhaps you Guys have a unique tip or Some help to get him into it. Hell only be happier if he finally commits. Thanks in advance.
