Did anyone else feel the end of The substance ruined the film for them?

Honestly it was so damn close to being my favourite horror film of all time. But the last 10 minutes roughly really turnt me off the movie. I still think it’s a good horror film but obviously for me it’s not my favourite or even top 10 now purely because of the ending. I liked the really dark vibe and morbid comedy most of it had but the end was a bit too bonkers for me and really wasn’t my cup of tea. I personally think something like ugly step sister stuck the landing better. It sucks tho cus I do especially love the vibe of the substance. And like I said I still think it’s a very good film but it could have been my favourite and a better ending would elevate it much more.
