Help required

I have been tutoring but recently ive had people tell me im charging WAY less. For context, i teach middle school students(6-8) and primary(3-5). occasionally i do teach higher classes as well.

The catch is, the students i have are from low income families. When i started teaching i wanted to gain some experience first so i took 2 children. Now whenever i tell someone i charge them xyz they say that i am charging less, but it makes me awkward asking for an increment because i know they are from low income family.

I am a university student so i can not take more than a few amount of students.

Now i am in a dilemma. I know i deserve more than i get but i am ashamed to ask more. Any advice?
