First accounting class, looking for advice.

Hi everyone! I’m in community college and I just started my first accounting class. It’s financial accounting 1 and I’m kind of nervous since I’ve never done anything related to accounting before. What are some concepts that I will most likely encounter in this class? also what advice or tips would you guys give that can help me be successful? I want to be able to do well.
