How lucky do you feel living in the Monterey county area? (Weather-wise)

Let me start. Its awesome how the almost the whole country is in heatwave mode while we stay pretty nice and cool. BUT, there are days with this fog hovering around. Its kind of gloomy when it stays too long. Like for a week. I get so sleepy and just want to stay in bed. The sun has a big effect on my mood so sunny and cool days are the best and yes I feel so blessed to he living here. I dont think I want to live anywhere else. I experienced staying in San Jose and Fairfield to visit friends for the weekend and the heat is terrible at noon til sunset during summer. Here, I get to sit like this and get some color at noon.
