vacation

I feel like I’ll never go anywhere. Growing up in the midwest, we only went up north to the upper peninsula of MI. Not Disney, or anywhere else other kids went. I just got my passport this year at 41. I’ve never been anywhere except like FL and CA once. My coworkers are always taking vacations. I job hopped a couple times and you have to wait for PTO to accrue, so it feels like I never have any saved up. Then I can never decide where to go, planning a trip is too much for me. I live in NYC so I don’t really have a desire to go anywhere but, I know once I get to places, I feel better, just from the change of scenery and perspective it gives me. Does anyone else absolutely freeze at trying to get away? Im a homebody always have been, but I’d like to be able to get away once in a while.
