Mobile mar mechanic diagnosis service recommendations?

My friend’s car is inoperable and sounds pretty bad and instead of towing it somewhere I saw there are mobile mechanic diagnostic services. Anyone used one? Just curious of any experience with them and any recommendations for a quality one. Just want someone to look at his car and give an idea of the issue and cost to repair.
