2 weeks till surgery - how should I prepare?

Hi, I’m 2 weeks until my total hysterectomy. I’m in lots of pain so I feel pretty good about it, although I haven’t had much time to process.

I feel that getting myself prepared will help - what things should I do before hand, what should I expect (generally) recovery to be like and what things should I buy or check that I have for recovery? I saw an online list but it honestly seemed pretty basic - what helped you? Items to have as well as any tips or tricks.
