Ephesians 2:4-5 says "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgression..."

This verses meaning is that God has loved for all ages and he will Continue to love us, But the only way to get to heaven is to believe in him and ask for true repentence and continue to live in his way. But just because he loves us doesnt mean we can just sin and sin and he will forgive us we need to equip the armour of God and use the shield of faith to deflect the devils lies he throws at us.
