This isn’t the first time someone in this subreddit that talks about some of these chapters, but I want to bring light to this Coalition as a whole because GW just dropped this sub-plot and never picked it up again

The so called “Malfactus Coalition” is a group of 5 chapters involved in the suppression of an unspecified warp faction that is coming out of the Malfactus Warpstorm in the Ultima Segmentum.

The Planet of New Drekport, situated deep inside the warp Storm seems to be the source of this mysterious invasion

Standing against this seemingly never ending assault are the Chapter’s of the Grey Giants of Epos, The Farstalkers of Vagoris, The Night Sentinels of Lychnos and the Sons of Galathor of the sanctuary world of Throne of Galat, currently under siege by this mystery foe.

Assisting the Sons of Galathor is a 5th chapter’s that willingly joined the coalition, The Regents of Gheren, who bound themselves to support the Sons of Galathor in case of an attack.

Their forces however, were also attacked by their shared adversary while approaching Throne of Galat

Frankly I built a little lore around the Grey Giants, but I’ll keep it to myself for another post.

What do you think of these chapters? Who is this mysterious adversary and why do we need 4 chapters to suppress it?
