Archer EMIYA is super underrated in terms of ability

The common thought on the internet appears to be that Archer is a mid-tier servant (Nasu flip flopping on projection is a factor) but if you actually analyze his feats, Archer is easily in the upper tier of Servants in terms of combat ability.

• He defeated Berserker Heracles six different times and Heracles was so impressed by his swordplay that he wished he could have fought him to his hearts content with a sane mind.
• He overcame Lancer Cu's Gae Bolg and was able to fend him off for most of the fight despite having a class disadvantage. Lancer Cu is no slouch because he fended off Gil for about 12 hours.
• Shirou with his arm was able to match Saber Alter's skill with the sword with just Kanshou and Bakuya, and even clinch a win by drawing on his memories.
• Archer's UBW is also confirmed to superior to Gil's GoB which is something even the most elite servants are disadvantaged against.

In conclusion, r/fatestaynight needs to take the Archer EMIYA pill.
