What should I expect now? Very anxious.

FAQ

Hi all. Not sure if I will be officially part of this crew soon or not but I just had my first ANA panel along with some other concerning unrelated panels and am really afraid. It’s a Friday and my pcp has not called me to explain, but I anticipate a rheum referral is next. But I just have so much anxiety that I don’t want to sit with so clueless all weekend as I start University next week.

Basically my ANA titer was positive, 1:640, and homogeneous. I don’t know what to make of this alone. I am also deficient in vit D & iron but already was supplementing to correct those already before my draw. My TSH is slightly elevated at a 2.96, my BUN was low. I have elevated DHEAs & high testosterone even with spearmint tea. I have had issues with joint pain, weight gain, fatigue, and hair loss. This is all despite trying to live a relatively healthy, non tox, less processed food, low stress lifestyle. I feel so stumped.

Basically, I’m scared this is something more than an autoimmune condition after reading it could also be cancers. I pushed off my endocrinologist referral and prioritized this, but now wondering if I should seek endo first in case the dheas & testosterone results point to an adrenal tumor or lymphoma.
Just trying to cope and get my ducks in a row before school , and really scared seeing my initial ANA and pattern result is considered slightly more likely to be something bad. Thank you to anyone who reads this and can share any experiences or advice!
