Ovary Pain

For about a year now I have been experiencing sharp pain in the area of my left ovary. It hurts almost all the time but sometimes it’s much worse to where I feel like I can’t even walk. I have always had very painful periods that last for 7-8 days that can cause me to be bedridden. I have only ever seen one OB in my life and when I brought this issue up, they did a trans vaginal ultrasound. They did say that it took them a long time to find my left ovary, but that everything looked fine. I’m not usually one to question a medical professionals, but I feel like only having pain in one ovary is strange. I’m not really sure where to go from here. I’ve heard people recommend that I get a second opinion, but I’m really scared of getting told that everything is fine again when I’m in pain every day
