Making a modded server as a complete newbie

Title explains it all, I'm a complete dunce to modding minecraft and I'm the type of person to just add something if it looks cool. I don't know anything about codes, compatibility checks, configurations, management, none of that. I don't know anyone who does either.

Is there any kind, brave soul willing to help me learn and try to fix the mess? My friend wanted a minecraft server with the Isle of Berk mods including some add-ons like furniture, farming, biomes, all that fun stuff. We have something that works, but not something that's optimized and the best it can be. It's like we just threw a bunch of glue and sticks together until it could stand up by itself.

We're using Modrinth for server hosting, Forge, Version 1.18.2
