Left cable suddenly stopped working

I got my first pair of Iems lime 3 or so months ago, I got the kefine Delcis and I really really liked them, I traveled with them in over summer and was just really impressed with how good music could sound lol. But today I put them on and the left one makes no sound. I'm thinking uh oh, I've heard stories about how left side Iems are notoriously unreliable 😭, and so to be sure that it's the cable and not the earbud I switched cable sides, and sure enough, the right one wasn't working and the left one worked fine again. Is this is really that common of a problem in Iems? I was roadie wrapping my iem cables btw. I think it may have been because the carrying case was a bit small, so I might have been wrapping them too tight, but is there any tips on how to store my Iems for the future? Also, if anybody has any tips for how to maybe fix the cable if possible that would be awesome! And lastly lol sry, if anybody has any recommendations for replacement cables and bigger cases or something in case I do have to replace them. Thanks!
