3 hour test

I’m so annoyed right now…second pregnancy and was expecting to have GD again based on my A1c. I failed the 1 hr test at 22 weeks and they’re forcing me to do the 3 hr next week to “confirm”. Like why? Just for a paper trail to say it’s official? I don’t want to put my body through that. Has anyone skipped the 3 hour and done something alternative to “prove” you have it?
