Full Season 17 Abyssal Expedition Leaderboard - including personal player ranking, fun facts and stats, nuts, and more!!
Hey guys! Huge apologies for taking this long to put out the leaderboard, Sebo and I have had a lot going on in the last couple of weeks, and my health has not been the best. With S18 already on the horizon (and tons of people in our DMs asking about it 💀), it really has been high time for quite a while to finally finish this project
As usual, here is our leaderboard sheet for season 17 of Abyssal Expedition! As this season's theme changed from, *checks notes*, a blacksmith/evil-forge hybrid to a, *check notes again*, farmer/evil-scarecrow hybrid, we also revamped the design of our sheets to reflect that shift. Huge thanks to Malte, Loading..., and Dan (alongside some other contributors) for providing the extra pizzazz that Google Spreadsheets really needed.
On the data front, the S17 sheet contains mostly the same type of information as the previous one (sans lower life kill-times and other race-season specific data). In addition to that, we have scoured this data for only the most jolly and risible factoids we could get our hands on – please try to chuckle sensibly and responsibly!
Oh, also I guess we also added a column for each player's NC region, in case you are curious how you performed compared to your leaderboard's compatriots.
For The Upcoming S18 Leaderboard
The number of no-show players has completely exploded across the leaderboard, and with the way spectators now get essence, we're having a very difficult time separating spectators from no-shows, and this can throw off the adjusted damage numbers for a lot of people. If you are competitive or wannabe competitive guild in S18 - we'd really appreciate it if you'd send us a screenshot of your Stars of Dawn page - showing who has a spectator and who is a spectator. We'll probably set up a google form to collect all the data

- please save your own copy so that you can take full advantage of the filtering tools, and so that you can pop open those hidden columns and find some little surprises
- if the running/sneaking nuts start wandering on the wrong part of the page, just refresh the document lol
Changelog
- Added tons of new nuts and copious amounts for fire 🔥 all across the leaderboard
- credits to Malte, Loading..., and Dan for all our glorious nuts!
Militia Ranking
- removed per-life kill times since S17 is a marathon
- added columns for how much damage a guild was missing compared to the next higher guild (both absolute numbers and percentage)
- militia rank still also has every guild's S16 and S15 rank
- the rank-change column from S16 now also has a corresponding "raw" value column (i.e. "6" in addition to "+6"), to allow sorting by largest rank change
Player Ranking
- removed time-adjusted damage column (since no guild killed, duh)
- removed kill time columns, again, since it wasn't a race
- added NC region
the absolute state of the player leaderboard
Easy Militia Viewer
- previously the "Filter out Spectators" checkbox removed players with 0 damage and 0 essence (to catch the handful of people that played but quit/dipped/went AWOL early into the season). Since spectators were able to get essence from fires this season, we made the checkbox simply filter out all zeroers, regardless of spectator or no-show
- we also added previous season ranks for the militia, and the little statue, cause why no
