Sell RTX 5080 for a 9070 XT on Linux?

I have a 9800X3D + PNY RTX 5080 running NixOS at 1440p.

I got a $1,000 offer for my used 5080 as the second-hand 50-series market has gone up since NVIDIA increased prices. With the current NVIDIA DX12/VKD3D performance issues on Linux, would you sell the 5080, switch to a 9070 XT, and pocket the difference?
