Should I take Gap year for FAST?

I missed FAST’s merit by around 1% this year. I’ve gotten into COMSATS Lahore for BBA, but honestly, I’m not happy with it because I genuinely wanted to go to FAST.
Now I’m considering taking a gap year and applying to FAST again for a management-related field.
Would you take a gap year for FAST in my situation, or just start BBA at COMSATS and move on and apply again to FAST next year or transfer? Would love some honest advice, especially from FAST/COMSATS students.
