The Open Tickets

I entered for The Open tickets on a whim to surprise my husband, and ended up with tickets for Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. This is obviously a bucket list trip for my husband, and he’s mentioned that many times. I’m sensing some hesitancy because of logistics (we have two young kids, are hoping to buy a new house soon so trying to save money, etc). I want to make this trip happen for him because I know how important it is to him. As a non-golfer, here’s my question: how likely is it that we’ll get tickets to The Open at St. Andrew’s sometime in the future? Is it a rare chance that we got them this time? We’ve tried for Masters tickets every year without luck. I don’t want to pass it up if it’s like that. My husband is trying to be selfless but I so desperately want him to have this experience!
