Query processing times

For over a week the query times have either timed out or have taken literally over 5 minutes and a multitude of resubmitting the query. It's to the point it's not usable anymore. Most of the queries I use it for have little to no analysis or evidence review needed (simple templates and formatting of criteria) yet it cannot even do that. What is going on? Is this a wide spread thing?
