Can I play the island without spending money

I recently bought WWE 2K26 and after never giving MyFACTION a chance, I did this time. And though it's a grind, I'm yet to spend money and have unlocked some pretty cool stuff. So I am wondering, is the island playable at all without having to pay for things?
