I need someone to say if my dog eye can improve with this

Since friday i was at my girlfriend house, and came back home today, monday here. And when i saw my dog Danny, his left eye is looking very strange i noticed instantly. I asked my father that stays with him and he said that he hit his eye with his hand by accident. And after that the woman that showers him said to use prednisolone acetate.

He told me after i asked. And i was even more worried because this medicine is said to worse cases of open wound in cornea. Here is a pic of his eye. He is a shih-tzu https://imgur.com/a/wfyRbs2
